CNY 2012

I shall post about my Chinese New Year celebration over the 4 days.

My celebration is unlike mos tof my friends do becos i had to return to my dad's hometown, Taiping for celebration. I think CNY is just a period for everyone in the family to gather together as a family. Such that relatives who rarely meet can at least meet once a year.

That what happens to mine too. We meet once a year cos my dad's siblings are located all over Msia and my in Singapore.Those in Msia can meet up more frequently than we do so well, that is the bad thing for staying far from them. But luckily, our younger generations age difference is little so well at least we still can play during the break.

But the most sad part for CNY is, my mum could not go back to her kampong becos of time constraint every year. :(

I got a big bump on my knee a day before CNY becos i slipped and fell on a wet and slippery floor.

Meatball Mee Sua cooked by my grandma! She prepared for the whole family of like 30 people? She cooked every meal during CNY! *Applause!*

My paternal grandma! She is the only grandparent that is on Earth right now.

I really hopes she is still here when i stepped into the working industry so that i can buy a set of clothes for her with my own salary. I hope that day can arrive. (:

Anw, my mum was saying we looked alike. LOL.

My 2nd Uncle shifted house so we went for a visit. I watched Music Bank there and realised my auntie is a Kpop Fan. LOL. She watches all sort of K-drama and even Running Man! My parents were amazed when i chatted with her on this topic. HAHAHA.

Ever seen how they picked up rubbish along the road? Hahaa, and he picked up real slowly. :x

I played numerous of Dai-D, 21 and 2 other games my cousin intro-ed. My aunt called me Poker Queen cos other than eating and sleeping, i am just playing poker. LOL

My grandma's house is above this shophouse. So everytime we had to walk up the stairs to the living room. But it is quite cool cos the shops was owned by my grandma who dont have to do anything. I always joke with my dad that my grandma only needs to sit and wait for money to flow in. HAHAA

Heading to my grandma's kampong is cool becos it is located along the sea. It is a small island, away from main land. Damn cool but that island is more happening. Fire crackers and kampong spirit. Totally (Y)

Saying goodbye

I dread of being graduated. When you had been with a group of friends for 3 years, saying goodbye to them is hurtful. I am so used to doing projects together.

In these 3 years, we have went through a lot of ups and lows. Did so many projects together, know the working styles of each other, being so used with each other,hang out during breaks, buffets, outings etc etc.. So many things that it is hard to list out one by one.

When we move on to another phrase of life, everything has to start again.

Sometimes, life is so unpredictable that you never know what will happen the next day or in next few months.

My aunt had passed away because of cancer. After 1 year of fight, she lost. No one believe until the day she left arrived. I cried quite badly on that day too cos she would always compliment me for being pretty ( :p), smart and obedient.

And i actually had a half hour phonecall with her 2 weeks ago. And just a few days before that day, she was completely frail when i saw her. I nearly cried in front of her. :(

Rest in peace.

Transformer 3

Just finished watching Transformer 3.

And i find the female lead, Rosie Huntington-Whitely is much hotter than the male lead, Shia LaBeouf.

Besides humans, the cars were damn awesome too. Though Bumblebee looks quite cool, i prefer the Red Ferrari. Not much screen time in the movie, but it caught my attention. Much prettier than the yellow sportcar. COOL

Bumblebee : fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Mirage : Red Ferrari 458 Italia.

I am going to watch Transformer 4 if there is, in the cinema!

A random topic i had today.

Should i be a air stewardess....? (DONT LAUGH)

They lowered the height to 158m which means i may stand a chance to be one. Hahahaha!

I actually asked my dad about it and surprisingly, he approved but with one condition, i need to get my degree first. It should be easy, provided that i wont turn crazy when i am coping with Accountancy or give up on it when i enter Uni. :x

Besides, when i checked their website today, they revealed tomorrow is their interview for this year's intake. hahaha. I must be crazy if i were to turn up tmr. (MY TUTOR WAS ASKING ME TO DO SO ANYWAY. )

A mini short getaway is real important. At least, i had a rest and fun too during these 3 days.

Watched two movies in these two days.

Both are of different plots but they are good!

Hilarious and sweet.

Xiaogui is so tanned and handsome in the movie. Especially when he helped Michelle to switch channels at coffeeshop. He is totally a gentleman. Hahahah

New Year Eve is funny too. Makes me feel like Valentine Day's too. (Yes i have not watched it.) After watching Valentine Day, I realized my celebration for New Year is always so simple.Pathetic life i got. :(

Sometimes, having a grand one seems good too. HAHAA.

Cant deny the best moments of life is during the secondary life. I am glad that i enjoyed it very much. (:

I confessed, half of the movie, i was admiring the charisma face the male lead has. Cant believe he is just one year older than me.

I was glad i waited for the movie to be released. Worth the time watching and i have bought the book for collection.

wonder how do people juggle their time well that they can perform well in every aspect that they are in.

Phoned my ex teacher today and she asked me where I am. Told her about it and she asked without hesitation whether I am going into workforce after I graduates. Though it was not my Iraq time hearing this reply, I still mind what she said. So I told her I want to get into Uni, she was shocked.
Tsk. Come on, everyone can get in whenever they want to.

Heard that a lot of people in Uni despise poly-grads too. They should o more reflection on themselves.

Workload is starting to increase. Or should say, it has been there ever since i have decided to take this module. Maybe, we should look at things from another perspective. It is not too bad afterall.

I am envy of people who have perfect skin complexion.

seriously, how do they maintain perfect skin or even how can they have such a good complexion. Aw. Sense the jealousy?

I have senstive skin and worst of all, pimples tend to pop out out of the sudden, and my cheeks will be reddish reddish just like acne scars. Totally pissed off with my skin.

Any help to help me out?

Anyway, my friend was telling me about deformed rabbits in Japan which may be caused by the radiation caused by the Fukushima nuclear plant.

Though the rabbit is deformed, it still looks cute without ears. I wonder whether the rabbit is deaf or not. :X

Finally Singapore is turning abit cooler. How i wish Singapore has 4 seasons. We can wear different types of clothings every 3 months, from trenchcoat to boots to cardigan to sweater. AWW. I want those long boots. So even if we buy from other countries , we wouldn't be able to wear here too.

Imagine our feet is soaked with sweats. Eww.

Furthermore, chances of me leaving Singapore for University is quite low now. Aw. This will be one of the regrets i will have in my life. :(

Different treatment

Realized that my treatment towards people differs with different groups of friends.
Met up with the prefects on sat. Haaha! So odd to mention that there is a prefect gathering. Anyway, I became so childish there and all those bullying and teasing of each other started again. :x totally werid.

A few updates of this week.

1. Was down with blocked nose AGAIN

It was very irritating to have my nose blocked. It's equivalent to losing sense of smell :( Went to the doc on Wed,hopefully I could be healthy by friday. This doctor I saw was so -.-. I told her I caught a flu and her next action was to pick up e mask besides her and wore it. She added on saying flu is contagious! It's very scary nowadays!
I was like: HUH?! You are e doctor! And I know that. Such a werid doctor.
2. I got my drivin license!
Hahhaa! Was real happy and as I told JiaoJun I felt like dancing there. She scolded me malu kid! LOL

In Psychology, learnt that there are 4 temperaments on Earth.

(clockwise direction of pic) Sanguine,Phlegmatic,Choleric, Melancholic.

Choleric is my temperament which YihChyuan guessed immediately after our tutor explained the definition. I agreed too. My character is so choleric. Too bossy and cant relax. Charmi was agreeing with it too. Aww.

Met up with MingChuen & Jenn yesterday.

Though we didn't meet for a few months, the feeling was great. We were together from primary school and now,our friendship have lasted for more than 5 years. Maybe as what Show said, 5 years later, if we are still maintaining in contact, they are your true friends. (:

I didn't expect my new post is about the almost ending internship i am having.

true, 6 weeks flies. especially after SP and NP VTs are so close to one another. Aw. But i would rather go back to school than work. Work is boring, fixed timing from 9 to 6, 5 days a week. During weekends, you would rather stay at home other than going out.

Talking about the NP ppl, i guess without them, the SP VTs wont be able to be as close as now. Thanks people. I should say this batch of VTs are real friendly and high. Easy to get along with. (:

Aw. I think i will miss the pantry and the tapping of cards in PwC. Hah. Furthermore, i guess after a month or so, we would not be as close as now. That's sad.

Internship and realisation

Shall have a small update of m current life.

Right now, i am having my internship at one of the audit firms in Singapore, in Raffles Place. (Jiaqi and i couldn't find it at first :x)

After 3 weeks in it, now i know the lives of auditors are more dead than i thought. For the enthusiastic seniors, they can work up to 2/3am and wake up at 7am. It is on everyday basis. And the salary wise, its a mis belief that auditors are earning big bucks. With these kind of lifestyles, $2000+ is under paid. This lifestyle can only fit people aging up till 30. HECTIC. No time for fun, shopping and relaxation. HAIS

Luckily, my first client that ended unofficially yesterday was a relaxing one. I could reach my client place at 9am and managed to get home early between 530 to 600pm while my friends reached around 9pm. HEE. But i wonder this can continue for the rest of the weeks too >.<

Working is hard. No wonder adults are complaining.

Had been so unlucky these few days. Mishaps occurring almost every week.

For the first week, i poured whole cup of Pepsi on JiaQi. WHOLE CUP! She was splashed with it! Actually its on purpose.Hahaa, luckily, she used her bag to cover her body, she got her legs wet. I was trying to open the chili sauce but my wrist knocked the Pepsi over, and "OH, its on her!" Felt apologetic over it. Hah!

For the second week, which is last week, I knocked onto the visualiser's head while presenting. The whole class including my tutor was laughing at it. :S

Just today, guess what i did. I knocked down a rubbish bin at the library, 2nd floor.. HAHAA. I was bringing JQ's laptop for printing some doc. Due to my small size, the laptop blocked my view completely, as in below. So, i was following Elaine, since she was walking straight, i just followed her, but never realise, there is one bin. So when i knocked it, i heard "BLAM". I looked down, and saw the rubbish on the floor. DAMN EMBARRASSING. I swear many saw! D:

After writing this post, i realised i should stay far away from JIAQI. AHAHA.

1. My 2011 first resolution : i want a DSLR type of camera.

Recently, this NEX3 caught my attention. Though not as slim as i thought, but the lens they got seemed so cool! :D

I like the colour range too. Red colour is nice. the Pink available is a bit too pale for me. hahaa.

YEAR 2011 is arriving in like 6 hrs time!

Wow, i am 19 sooon.

In Year 2010, had gained a lot of experiences. Hanging out with friends more often, chasing more idols, studied more , joined YOG too! I was reading my schedule book and chose 8 events that it is memorable to me. (:

In :

1. Jan 17th : I went for the first classical concert that i ever had, i only paid $10 for it too. It was for my Gems project, so i went with other 3 teammates.

Well, out of the 3 pieces, the last was the best! Real Joyful but i forgot the name for this piece. [It happened all the way in January 2010 but i thought it was in May/June, gosh :x]

2. 20th May-23rd May

Its Show's in SG period! Hahaa, i went for 2 autograph sessions and 1 concert in this period. real Hardcore but its worth. Seeing his pout when he is right in front of me :) This year, though i went without Jenin,Joanne and Yihan joined us and we had a free ride home. Cool. Of cos not to forget, Show's Concert 值得票价！

3. 29th,31st May

My birthday celebration! Firstly, thanks to people who have planned it. THANKS! *with 90 degree bow*

No matter whether it is in school or at Changi, i had a lot of fun (:

4. June 14th : A major decision i made : I signed up for driving lessons. I actually regreted the next day . it was expensive and especially when i paid from my own pocket money, it got even worse. Hahaa, i have spent around $2000 in total. Hope my TP in Feb 1st would pass! (:

For those who are planning to learn, a piece of advice. I think driving is not hard, a lot of practices are needed but i feel that it relies more on 临场表现. For me, my drviing varies with the instructor i got on that day. If i feel comfortable with him/her, my skills will be superb. Or else, it will be terrible. Don't worry ppl, just go and learn!

5. YOG

I participated in YOG as volunteer.Maybe i was allocated at the wrong place and wrong batch, so our duties are quite dull :( But at least i saw a lot of Caucasians, so much taller and so much muscular.[HAHA] And well, at least i made friends with others too! I was only involved in 4 days to be exact, cos i did not go for one day due to cnblue showcase. HAHA. Great right?

6. CNBLUE Showcase!

This showcase is my first expenditure on Korean stuffs. Seeing CNBLUE live is damn nice! Satisfying! Yonghwa is cute and how should i say, the 4 boys are talented. They can play very well and its live! I nearly missed the chance cos we were too busy with projects for that period. the showcase was full. Luckily i still managed to have a glimpse of them!

7. UNIVERSAL Studio IN SG

First trip to universal studio. It was much smaller than i expected. Tried almost all the rides. But i did not try the wet ride :( i am going to try the next time i am going there! but it was nice going with Jiaqi and Elaine. I think Elaine do not dare to take the rides anymore. HEHE

8. TIMBRE with Nilique!

Aw, i like this trip, it really made me feel like i am 18. Going to there and enjoy the breeze of Sg river. LOL. I was a good girl, i didn't drink. So i only had mocktail but they did not believe. They were saying i was trying to be a good girl.

I am always a good girl. Hehe

2010 is so great!

Headed to HMV and i approached the counter when Jiaqi is paying.

Cashier A+B : "*looked at each other* again?"

Me: "May i know when is Luo Zhi Xiang New Book arriving?"

Cashier B : "Currently we have not received any news about it yet."

Cashier A turned and asked B. "Who is Luo Zhi Xiang?"

i told Cashier A : " ah, nvm nvm." in a jokeful manner.

School Break STARTED Officially 1 week ago.

Tons of things to do for this 3 weeks break. Driving, Piano,Projects etc etc.

Someone even told me to "have a break" last week, it shocks me. Sort of to remind me to rest well before 2011 starts. Busy lifestyle.

Of course, i have put in some activivites for myself too. Hehe, such as watching some videos, going out :D.
